We will progress the project to site, acting in a contract administration or project management role, providing interim valuations, variation orders as necessary, and ensuring the works are executed in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents.
We were initially instructed to carry out a building survey on this Grade I listed building in East Sussex. The client retained us to specify and project manage the complete internal refurbishment and external repairs and redecoration, restoring the property to a exceptional standard. Close liaison with English Heritage on the proposals was required. The project required careful monitoring, and ran for just under ten months.
The client bought this property, located in central London, in a fire damaged state. Complete stripping back was required along with significant structural alterations to the basement area. The final fit out was completed to a very high standard, reflecting the location and character of the building as a whole.
We undertook specification and project monitoring for this Charitable Healthcare society. The original building was refurbished from an almost dilapidated condition to premium office space split over four floors. The work included restoration of the external fabric, which had particular requirements, as scaffolding was necessary over a busy London thoroughfare.
